Brian and Ciara from Goats Gruff here, thank you for visiting our website! Here is a bit about us and what we do.

We started our little food truck in August 2019 and started serving specialty coffee and Neapolitan pizza to the lovely community that surrounds the Strawberry Beds. We got the idea for our business a few years before when visiting Vermont. We went to a great community pizza night centred around a handmade wood fired oven and just knew it would be great for the Strawberry Beds. We paired this idea with our love for coffee and Goats Gruff was born!

We both have worked in the hospitality industry for years in different parts of the World and know the importance of great customer service. We enjoy nothing more than a good chat at the hatch. Our customers are the nicest and we are delighted to serve the community every day.

No matter the time of day, we have got you covered. From fresh pastries and creamy overnight for breakfast, sourdough wood-fired sambos for lunch and Neapolitan pizza every evening. We provide outside catering, as well as onsite catering for all sorts of events from weddings, wedding day 2s, birthday parties, retirement parties and Christmas parties. Our pizzaiolas use Neapolitan techniques and ferment our dough over 48 hours. We lovingly top our deliciously charred pizzas with a combination of the best local ingredients and the all important imported ingredients like our San Marzano Tomatoes. Our cookies and treats are not to be missed either. Baked in house, our chunky chocolate chip cookies and our customer favourite Kinder Bueno Blondies are the perfect way to brighten up your day.

Our relationship with the Strawberry Hall is simple. They love our pizza and we love their Guinness. In August 2019 we joined forces and last summer the Straw Hall beer garden of old was restored.

Now you can enjoy our boho style garden over your morning coffee, a spot of lunch or with a pint in the sun. Don’t worry about the weather, we have that covered! A sandstone tent stretches part of the garden to keep you sheltered in this chaotic climate of ours.
